Before being saved in 2024 by Jeff and Marissa, Juniper was originally started in 2020 primarily doing take-out. Both worked from opening day where they were head chefs. Bringing the business from the ground up during the Covid lockdown to what it is now. They also mastered their own dough recipe. Jeff and Marissa are now the owners and enjoy learning more about the restaurant and business as well as catering events and providing space for parties of all sizes.

Jeff and Marissa continued working from opening day of Juniper, which was once Juniper Pizza Cafe. After a few years at the Main Street location, they made the move over to the old Log Palace in 2023 with the job they loved. Once 2024 rolled around, they had an opportunity to buy the restaurant which they jumped on right away. This also came with the Juniper Restaurant and Catering LLC. name change, but Juniper Kitchen for short. Though it wasn’t a walk in the park the first few months, they wouldn’t trade it for the world. Gaining confidence through those few months that they have what it takes, they decided to rebrand and have a grand re-opening.
They came up with a new menu design with new, improved, and remastered items. With this was the introduction of a bar menu and kids menu. They both like to experiment with dessert and cocktail options and building bridges and supporting others from restaurants and brewery’s, radio stations, the community and those traveling.
Jeff and Marissa are more comfortable with the business as well as themselves and their endless possibilities. Whether you are a local, tourist, or dog… make sure you stop at Juniper Kitchen!
